Nicholas (Nick) Principe is Senior Vice President, Acquisitions at LRC Properties.
Nick is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in real estate investments. Nick joined LRC in 2011 as Senior Director of Acquisition and Finance after advising third-party investors who participated in successful LRC real estate properties.
Prior to joining LRC, Nick was special transaction advisor to a private company’s managing partner responsible for the successful acquisition and operation of a California-based real estate asset management firm with 3 million square feet of Class A properties valued at over $300 million. He was a co-founder of IBG Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based company which acquired, financed and managed approximately $1 billion in real estate transactions of urban and suburban office buildings, high-rise residential and waterfront land development projects. He is also the sole Managing Director of Quail Investment Company (USA) Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of a private international investment firm, responsible for more $850 million in real estate debt and equity transactions in the U.S., Germany and Gibraltar.
Nick has successfully acquired and converted over $400 million in apartments in New York City and rezoned suburban mixed use sites for multi-family and office development projects in many East Coast major markets. In addition, he has handled the acquisition, financing, operations and management for major class A office buildings and historical properties in Washington, D.C. and waterfront and residential marina properties along the East Coast from South Carolina to Florida.
Nick graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and also has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago. He served as a Special Forces Captain (Green Beret) in Vietnam and was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart.
